At Aakanksha Therapy Center, our mission is to empower every individual, whether a child facing developmental challenges or an adult in need of rehabilitation, to achieve optimal physical, emotional and cognitive well-being. By combining the rigour of evidence-based practices with an empathetic, case-centred approach, we create tailored therapy programs that nurture the mind, body and spirit.
Children Rehabilitation
Our specialised programs supports children with Developmental Disabilities like Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome. For these young beneficiaries, we focus on enhancing core developmental skills, improving social interactions, communication, motor abilities and behaviour management through engaging, play-based interventions.
Adults in Rehabilitation
We offer comprehensive rehabilitation services for adults managing a broad spectrum of conditions, including:
- Musculoskeletal Issues: Arthritis, neck pain, cervical spondylitis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, back and lower back pain, lumbar spondylitis, sciatica, sports injuries.
- Neurological Conditions & Post-Injury Care: Spinal cord injuries, ligament injuries, traumatic injuries, facial palsy/Bell's Palsy, paralysis/stroke, Parkinson's disease, Erb's Palsy, brachial plexus injuries.
- Post-Surgical Recovery: Knee and hip replacements.
- Other Conditions: Club foot, heel and foot pain, ankle sprain and related disorders.
