Community Based Inclusive Development Program
CBID
This diploma program focuses on empowering communities to support persons with disabilities through inclusive and accessible development strategies. It prepares professionals to work in rural and urban settings to promote independent living and social integration for people with disabilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: 10th standard pass (SSC) from any recognized State or Central Board.
- Minimum Age: 18 years at the time of admission.
Career Options:
- Community Disability Worker: Implement inclusive education and rehabilitation initiatives at the grassroots level.
- Disability Rights Advocate: Work with NGOs, policymakers, and government bodies to improve disability rights and policies.
- Vocational Trainer: Train individuals with disabilities in employment and life skills.
- Rehabilitation Program Coordinator: Design and execute community-level rehabilitation programs.
- Accessibility Consultant: Advise institutions on making workplaces, educational environments, and public spaces disability-friendly.
