Aakanksha Lions Institute of Learning and Empowerment
A Ray of Hope
For 30 years, Aakanksha has been transforming the lives of children with intellectual disabilities, empowering them with education, therapy, and vocational training to integrate into society.
Founded in 1994 by compassionate members of Lions Club, Raipur, we started as a daycare for 14 children—today, we operate from a state-of-the-art 52,000 sq. ft. facility, offering holistic rehabilitation for children with intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and more.
More than a school, Aakanksha is an ecosystem of empowerment, equipping children with the skills, confidence, and independence to thrive.
