Mr. K.K Nayak is the founder and chairperson of Aakanksha Institute of Learning & Empowerment. 23 years ago, Mr. Nayak was pained when the special child of hs very close friend was in need of special training which was missing in Raipur. Mr. Nayak, along with his friends and fellow Lions Club members, inspired by the work done in cities like Delhi and Bangalore decided to open a specialized institute for these special children and enroll his friend’s daughter as the first student. The journey since then has been difficult and long, but inspiring. Aakanksha today with the continuous dedication of Mr. Nayak, his trusted friends, fellow board members and the staff are today catering to almost 300 children in its urban and 2 rural set ups, all of which started from the vision after seeing a single child.
Mr. Nagpal has taken charge of the infrastructure and construction activities of Aakansha. He has been active in building and maintaining the 22, 000 sq foot campus and is currently working towards looking to expand it further for adding more activities.
Mr. Agarwal since the day of inception was given the task of making this project financially viable. From the early days till today, Mr Agarwal has been active in ensuring the smooth running of the institute financially and at the same time ensuring there is a flow and proper use of all donations and government funds
Dr. Dhabalia has ensured his cooperative support towards the operations and management of the institute whether staff coordination, student coordination, OPD and other infrastructure usage and accountability as well as training student support and cooperation.
