Aakanksha Institute of Learning & Empowerment is one of the foremost organizations dealing with intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, deafblindness, visual impairment and other disabilities. With over 23 years of experience, the institute has strived for overall development of a child with special needs focusing on personal, physical, intellectual, social and vocational training .as well as parental counseling
The teaching staff takes a personal look out of each student by keeping a very low student to teacher ratio. We also help special education trainees in their curriculum who are then awarded with nationally recognized diplomas.
The institute is situated in Raipur region of Chhattisgarh but caters to children across the country. The institute apart from its main campus in Avanti Vihar, which caters to 200+ full time students in special school and therapy department and Deafblind unit, has 2 special school setups in Beergaon and Dharsiwa village of Dharsiwa Block.
The main campus is a 22, 000 square foot 2 storied building with multiple classes, library, entertainment area, physiotherapy, speech therapy, specialty care and other supporting training centers We have a fleet of 2 buses with special wheel chair onboarding devises
